Why rota and licence tracking matter
A taxi company is only as reliable as its rota. Gaps on a Friday night mean long waits and lost customers; double-booked drivers mean wasted wages. At the same time, every driver needs a valid driving licence and, in most cities, a taxi or private hire badge. If one expires, that driver cannot legally work, and the operator can be fined.
How the live view works
The dashboard checks every shift against the current time on your device. A shift that started and hasn't finished shows under On shift now with a live countdown to the end of the shift. Overnight shifts, where the end time is earlier than the start time, are handled automatically.
Planning a fair rota
The hours chart shows how many hours each driver is scheduled for this week. Use it to share busy, well-paid shifts fairly and to spot drivers who are working too many hours. Long shifts without rest are a safety risk for drivers and passengers.
Keeping driver records
Driver notes give you a fair, dated record when you need to discuss performance, respond to a complaint or praise good work. Keep notes factual and short.
Your data stays with you
Driver details are personal data. This tool keeps them only in your own browser; nothing is uploaded. Download backups and keep them somewhere safe, and follow your local data protection rules.

Does it send reminders to drivers?
No. It's an office tool. The dashboard shows alerts when you open it.
Where is driver data stored?
Only in your own browser on this device. We never receive it.
Can I copy last week's shifts?
Yes. In Weekly schedule, click “Copy last week” to copy every shift from the previous week into the week you're viewing.
What counts as a licence alert?
Any driving licence or badge expiring within 45 days, or already expired.
